Kilab Multimedia is a collective of cultural and multimedia workers from Southern Mindanao that utilizes multimedia to bring grassroots stories and struggles from Mindanao into the mainstream. Formed in 2011, Kilab (the Visayan word for 'flash' or 'forward') produces news, documentary and features focusing on alternative narratives coming from the marginalized sectors - the Lumads, Moro, farmers, workers and urban poor. Kilab is a member of Altermidya People’s Alternative Media Network and is a non-profit group geared towards alternative journalism and multimedia service for the marginalized sectors.
